LEAH DANTIN, O.D.

Dr. Leah Dantin is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist from the Galveston area. She is a proud Aggie, graduating with Honors from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016 from the University of Houston College of Optometry.  Dr. Dantin completed clinical internships at Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio and Northeastern State University-Oklahoma College of Optometry, both of which provided​ extensive training in the treatment and management of ocular disease, with an emphasis in diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and peri-operative care for cataract surgery. During her time in Oklahoma, she also became certified in ophthalmic laser procedures. She is an active member of the Harris County Optometric Society.

 

Dr. Dantin lives in Houston with her husband, their dog, Zeus, and two cats, Penny and Louie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and attending sporting events. Her newest challenge is learning and becoming fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

 

Dr. Dantin is excited for the opportunity to provide excellent eye care for the city of Houston and surrounding areas.
